A few hours in Edinburgh

Such a cool old city. Super busy and bustling. Walking from the train station to our hotel was super easy. Tons of people going in different directions with all their luggage. No problem.

Checked in and settled for a few days stay then on to the castle, with a few thousand picturesque views in between.

Such cool monuments of time. It is crazy to me, the nerdy history part of me, how many thousands of years these have been here and weathered all sorts of storms. I learned a few things about the old city and new city. Edinburgh castle and the old city sit on top of an extinct volcano. Also the reason there are so many stairs and an incline to get up there. Totally worth it.

We would love more time here, just like the last couple places we’ve visited. So much more to learn and explore.
